Harbour Arms has been producing Precision Snap Caps since 2009. The Precision Snap Caps are made on CNC machines. They are solid aluminum and anodized red. The calibers are engraved into the side. Instead of a rubber stopper, Harbour Arms Precision Snap Caps use a spring loaded brass plunger to absorb the shock. Many shooters prefer the design of Harbour Arms Precision Snap Caps.
Harbour Arms unconditionally guarantees their product. If they fail, they will replace them for just the cost of shipping.

Harbour Arms, Inc., grew from an idea that target and precision rifle shooters should have snap caps to use when dry firing. The owner is a retired law enforcement officer and instructor. He also shoots long range as often as possible. He knows the value of dry firing. No one had snap caps in the special target rifle calibers. He also saw some of the fine firing pins and titanium firing pins of match grade rifles fracture on the line during matches. Many times the manufacturers complained it was due to dry firing too much. He started this endeavor in the spring of 2009. Since then interest in his product has grown quite a bit.
