I shoot the CMP matches at my gun club and the surface that we shoot from a concrete apron. The extra padding protects my elbows much better than my old shooting mat. I like that the mat has a vinyl like material on the underside. This makes cleaning the mat much easier after a match where the ground is wet. It also keeps me dry.
