7mm STW Redding Deluxe 3-Die Rifle Set
The Redding Deluxe 3-Die Rifle Set is for rifle cases or bottleneck cases. This set includes a Full Length Sizing Die, a Neck Sizing Die and a Bullet Seating Die.
The Redding Full Length Sizing Die allows the handloader to completely size the body of the case and set or bump the shoulder back to adjust the headspace of the cartridge relative to the firearm’s chamber so the loaded round will chamber easier. The Full-Length Sizing Die includes a decapping rod assembly with a sizing button and decapping pin which allows the reloader to remove their spent primers.
The Redding Neck Sizing Die can be used by the handloader in place of full length sizing to size only the neck portion of the cartridge. Some rifles prefer this method of sizing for accuracy. The handloader will occasionally have to full length size to adjust the headspace when the bolt becomes hard to close. The neck sizing die includes a decapping rod assembly with a sizing button and decapping pin which allows the reloader to remove their spent primers.
The Redding Bullet Seater includes the seating plug or stem and a built-in crimp ring. Adjusting the seater relative to the shellholder can take the crimp ring out of play for most handloaders not wishing for a crimped round. Seating depth is made by threading the seating plug in or out of the die.
