Distinguished Rifleman Challenge Coin

The challenge coins were what I expected. They are well made and look good. They arrived in a reasonable time and in good condition. I would make one suggestion. The coins do not arrive in a hard plastic holder. Therefore, if someone carried one even in a small leather/cloth bag it would soon be scratched and possibly damaged. I ordered plastic challenge coin containers but had to modify the foam backing so this coin would fit properly. Some coins come in hard plastic holders that protect the coin. I understand if these coins came with containers it would increase the price, however, I don't think the increase would be large and it would be worth it to protect the coins whether on display or carried. And remember, these coins are usually meant to be carried so as to "challenge" someone or to accept a challenge.

Nicely struck coin. Detail is excellent.
