The Forster Accu-Ring Graduated Die Lock Ring is a very useful upgraded to any sizing die whether Forster or some other brand. Each increment on the lock ring represents .000998” or .001” for practical purposes. Use of this die ring allows you to adjust your sizing die in .001” increments which is especially useful when trying to achieve the desired amount of cartridge headspace relative to your rifle chamber. It can also be used to finely adjust seating depth when using it on a seating die. Works on standard 7/8”-14 presses and on Forster Co-Ax presses.

Notice: The distance of 0.001” is the distance between a long and short reference mark as shown in the photo. This distance indicates the up or down adjustment of the die in the Reloading Press. Actual up or down movement of the die is 0.000998” per reference mark, which, for all intents and purposes, is one thousandth of an inch (0.001”).
