A little time honing the sight down but she's on the rifle now. Can't wait to send rounds down range.

Seeing is believing

I installed this sight and my groups improved tremendously. I used a wet stone to fit the sight perfectly. Some people would rather not have to do this but I liked the fact that I could make it fit the way I like best. This sight stays in place where as my other sight would move during shooting. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to improve their shooting.

Good Purchase

As advertised and works well, but may require some "minor" fitting, depending on your rifle and sight system. Initially, the blade would not fit into the sight channel, however, with some minor "stoning," I was able to achieve a good fit. Four stars only because I was not expecting to have to do "minor fitting."

These sights are a bit different from the same item that I purchased in the early 2000's. The cast part is rougher and requires a lot more "fitting" than the previous sights, however, it seems to work fine. Creedmoor's price was more reasonable than other suppliers.

I used a DMT sharpening stone to fit the rack to my rear sight base...took only a few minutes and I had a perfect fit. When rotating the hood it snaps firmly into place so there's no question it's where it's supposed to be.
