NRA High Power Glove
Used by San Diego Police S.W.A.T. Snipers, the strategically placed double thickness of leather in the palm is designed to maintain touch control of your rifle. The back of the glove is strategically padded in three areas: the thumb and forefinger area, the back of the hand, and the wrist area to give you maximum protection from the sling and outside elements. Vent holes separate the padded areas.
These are now brown in color with the exception of the 2XL sizes which are black.
Gloves for a right handed shooter will go on the left hand and vice versa.

I evidently have big hands XXL shooting gloves just don't fit. I pull them apart getting them on and off, in just a couple of months. I ordered this mitten for lack of alternatives not knowing if I will like using one. The mitten is well padded on the back side, with no padding in the palm. A Chinese import, the build quality appears good, the leather a bit thin, and cheaper suede type leather in the palm, with regular leather inserts at stress points. Time will tell if it will hold up.
Owner Response: Tony, Thank you for taking time to review our glove. We've been carrying this glove for many years as it's our most popular mitt-style shooting glove.

Glove fit as expected; quality of glove was good. Padding on back of glove was not helpful, asked a fellow shooter if he liked it. That is two in the No column. Gave glove to a new shooter to get them started.
Owner Response: Thank you for your review. The padding on this glove isn't for everyone and we do carry a variety of gloves without the thick padding on the back like that. We are glad that you were able to find a new shooter to help. If you'll contact email@example.com directly, we'll be happy to work with you on another glove.
bought one for every centerfire rifle case

I like to have things squared away, at my age, I resent the time I spend simply looking for things. I've tried other shooting gloves, but this is the best. Light, relatively cool, travels easy in the case. Never seen one better designed than this.
perfecct glove for hot climate

Padding is just right. Dexterity is not cramped when the fingers are not individually padded - you can do things without taking off the glove. And it's comfortable. I tried others, came back to this. Now I put one in every rifle case.
will not work for me

There is no grip. The leather is to soft and smooth and just slides on my stock.
Owner Response: Hi, David. Thank you for taking time to review our glove. If you would like to return it, please send it back to us at the address on the packing slip. We'll be happy to exchange it for another style.

It does what it is supposed to do, and the best of all...it is the color leather is supposed to be and not a flashy color! It's a little confusing on ordering R or L, so I added in the comments exactly what I needed.

Good glove well built with soft leather and good padding on the back of the hand to protect it from the tension of the brettelle. BUY IT!

I use a Giessle hand guard for my service rifle. This glove works perfect and won't fall apart as my other gloves did.

Used this in a precision scoped rifle course and it looks odd, but works excellent. I highly recommend this for scoped precision rifle shooting.

It does what it is supposed to. The beck padding affords good comfort on a tight sling especially in prone.
