The quickest, easiest means of removing the front portion of a separated case without damage to the chamber. Engages the lip and pulls case from the chamber when charging handle is pulled back. Blued steel. 2 1/8" long.
I have never had a problem with broken shells in my match AR15's but you never know. It is made out of strong polymer. I have never used one before and hopefully never will. It is in my range box just in case of an incident. Will give a 3 star rating based solely on what seems to be a good design and not on any experience with it.
