This excellent match rifle sling was developed by Mid and Nancy Tompkins for use in High Power, Long Range, and Smallbore shooting. The 1 ¼" width was chosen because it provides excellent stability but does not transfer pulse effects like wider slings sometimes do. This sling is designed to work without keepers but can be used with a 1 ¼" keeper if desired. This sling can be used with hooks or push button detachable sling swivels and attach to the rifle on the front swivel only - it is not for Service Rifle competition. The sling is 11 oz and made from Biothane. It is extremely strong, supple and comfortable, and it is completely weather resistant.
