6mm Dasher Wilson Micrometer Bullet Seater – Stainless

The Wilson Micrometer Bullet Seater for 6mm Dasher is precision machined from a solid bar of high-grade stainless steel and is widely regarded as one of the most consistent and precise bullet seaters available. Wilson has been producing inline seaters for decades, refining the process into a true craft. These seaters are designed for use with arbor-style presses and feature a single moving part during the seating operation.

Each case and bullet are fully captured in a chamber that closely mirrors your rifle’s chamber, while the seater stem travels straight down to seat the bullet. Alignment is built into the design, eliminating variables before they can affect accuracy. The fit between the seater stem and body is so precise that it can create a vacuum, a testament to the level of machining involved.

The micrometer head allows infinite seating depth adjustment, with .001 inch graduations for precise, repeatable tuning. These benchrest-quality seaters have been trusted by competitive shooters for over four generations and are now widely used in disciplines such as Benchrest, F-Class, Fullbore, High Power, PRS, and other accuracy-driven shooting sports.

Tech Tips:
When using a Stoney Point (Hornady) OAL gauge, you can quickly rough-adjust your seater by placing the cutout of the tool on top of the arbor press plate and setting the seater over a dummy round with a bullet seated in a modified case. Adjust the stem downward until the seater cap is flush with the top of the die. You may need to allow the arbor press plate to extend slightly past the bench to accommodate the tool. Final adjustments can then be dialed in using your comparator.
