AMP Press

The AMP Press is a precision bullet seating press designed to measure and analyze the force and distance involved when seating bullets. Using a motor-driven ram, a precision load cell, and a position sensor, the press records detailed force-versus-distance data during the seating process.

Designed for use with inline bullet seating dies, the system allows reloaders to store and sort seating data, create cartridge profiles for different calibers, and compare current seating sessions to previous ones. This data can help identify variations in case preparation and neck tension, allowing users to sort cartridges and improve load consistency.

The motorized ram applies a consistent seating stroke to remove variation caused by manual operation. A distance sensor accurate to 0.001" tracks ram movement while the load cell records seating force, allowing detailed analysis of the seating process.
