Unlike phosphor bronze brushes, Proof-Positive nylon brushes are strongly recommended when using fast-acting copper-removing cleaners such as Bore Tech Eliminator Bore Cleaner or Cu+2 Copper Remover. Traditional phosphor bronze brushes contain over 90% copper and will turn patches blue when they contact most copper-removing cleaners. With barrel-safe, non-brass cores and threads, Proof-Positive nylon brushes are not affected by copper removers, so you eliminate blue patches and the false indication of copper fouling that comes with bronze brushes.

Proof-Positive Nylon Rifle Bore Brushes carry twice the amount of extra-rigid nylon bristles, and each caliber has specifically tailored bristle diameters, for double the scrubbing action and faster cleaning. Each non-brass, double-wound brush core has a looped end, eliminating the sharp cut wire ends found on many lower-quality brushes. This attention to detail, along with aircraft-grade aluminum studs, produces an effective, long-lasting nylon bore brush for your rifle.

Proof-Positive Nylon Rifle Bore Brush Use Instructions

• 1. Screw the brush onto the rod.
• 2. Wet the brush with cleaning solvent.
• 3. Make 6-12 passes down the length of the barrel.
• 4. Reapply cleaning solvent and continue to brush as necessary.
• 5. When finished, clean the brushes before storage.
