If domination on the firing line is what you're after, the M1A Super Match from Springfield Armory is the tool you need. The Super Match is the culmination of unsurpassed workmanship and all the best competition-legal features you can pack into a match rifle. The stock is made of walnut and is oversized for increased stability and weight. The barrel is a 22" 6-Groove Parkerized Douglas Chromemolly heavy barrel with a 1 in 10" twist rate and chambered for 7.62 x 51mm NATO (.308). The overall length of the gun is approx. 44.33" and weighs approx. 11.2 lbs (with an empty magazine). The front sight is a National Match .062" Blade and the rear sight is a match grade hooded aperture .0595 w/ 1/2 moa adjustment for both windage and elevation. 1 10-round magazine is included. A scope or scope mount is not included.
*The State of California outlaws flash suppressors on semiautomatic rifles with detachable magazines but allows muzzle brakes to be used instead. The M2000 rifle is comparative to the M3000 except it does not have an adjustable cheekpiece built-in on the stock. The biggest difference between the National Match and the Super Match is that the Super Match comes with a rear lug receiver and a heavy barrel and it has an oversized target stock. The muzzle brake is removable with ease. There is no bullet button and it has a standard magazine release.
