Precision machining is critical for a ball end tool to function well, and the smaller the ball end, the harder it is to machine. Bondhus holds tight tolerances and close clearances between the ball end and the screw head walls, and accurately maintains the geometric shape of the ball on all six sides. Surfaces are smooth and corners are sharp and clean, even on the smallest sizes. The result is more surface area contacting the screw wall, longer tool life, and much less stripping of fasteners.

Bondhus chamfers every hex and TORX tool it makes. This removes burrs and imperfections in the tip that can prevent the tool from fitting properly or seating fully in the screw head. Tools insert quickly and easily and fit snugly to generate more torque with less slipping. Bondhus custom heat treating produces tools that are highly resistant to breakage and shattering.
