The Redding Match Precision Case Trimming Lathe (Model 2400) is designed for reloaders who demand precise, repeatable case preparation across a wide range of cartridges. Built on true lathe principles, the cutter remains stationary while the case is rotated, producing consistently square case mouths that contribute to improved accuracy and uniformity.

A key feature of the Model 2400 is its integrated micrometer, allowing fast, repeatable case length adjustments in increments as fine as .001". This precision control, combined with a push button collet chuck, ensures proper alignment of the case and pilot while simplifying loading and removal.

The rigid cast iron frame maintains alignment and stability during use, while the universal collet system accommodates all popular rifle and handgun cases without the need for additional shellholders. Capable of handling calibers from .17 to .50 and case lengths up to 3-1/4", it is well suited for both modern long-action cartridges and traditional designs.

A TiN (Titanium Nitride) coated cutter increases surface hardness for extended service life and clean, consistent cuts, and is easily replaceable when needed.
